How can I delete my sbcglobal.net email account?

I have tried everything I can find and still can't delete my sbcglobal.net email account. Anyone found a real solution to this problem? The instructions for deleting a free att email don't work with sbcglobal accounts.

Is this your subaccount email?

Here is more information on how to delete the subaccount account. We recommend that you log into the Member ID account. The Member ID is the parent account to the subaccount. You can also try using a different browser.
Also we recommend you to check out this article to delete the email account.

I will have to try that delete a subaccount option. My dad has the parent account and said he lost the ability to manage subaccounts, but I will forward him that link and have him try it.

So that didn't work either. When he clicked on Manage Sub-Accounts, it didn't show any sub-accounts.
