A splitter connected to what devices? There should be no splitters on the satellite coax cables. Is the TV set to the proper AV INPUT for those connections?

You need to "dither" the dish's fine tuning adjustments to peak the 99 and 103º satellite readings. You might find the aerial mapping tools and smart phone app at www.dishpointer.com to be very useful.

If you have two mini Genies, then you should also have an HR44 Genie DVR? Or did you mean HR44 instead of HR24? Be sure to also reset the main HR44 Genie DVR.

What model DVR/Receiver? Have you tried swapping the "bad" Receiver with a good one? That will help you determine if the problem is a bad Receiver, or something with its connection to your TV.

Yes. If you have DirecTV's Equipment Protection Plan, they'll replace them for free. Otherwise it's cheaper to buy from Amazon, eBay, BestBuy, etc.

You'll need to call DirecTV at 1 800 DIRECTV if you truly want to cancel your service. What brand/model HDTV do you have? Newer TVs should support all of the HiDef formats via HDMI connection with no problems, but may need a software update from the TV manufacturer. Older TVs can solve this by using Component Video cables instead of HDMI cable.

Most all of the channels in that package are beamed from the 119ºW satellite, and your dish probably can't receive it. You'll need to have DirecTV upgrade your satellite dish. That might also explain why you're not seeing all of your local channels.
