Your Insignia HDTV has the Roku feature, but that's not going to get you DirecTV channels. Do you have a stand-alone DirecTV Receiver? What model number? It will need a satellite dish to receive any channels. Is that coax cable actually connected to a satellite dish?

This has been an issue for many years. It has nothing to do with AT&T. Networks like to do this on purpose to keep people from changing channels. But it's super annoying when you record shows and the start late or end early. Complaining to the networks is your only recourse.

Need more information ... What model "box"? Have you tried resetting the DVR using the red button behind the front panel access card door? Is this happening on all recordings/channels? Which ones? Lots of things can cause this sort problem, including weak or intermittent satellite reception. So replacing the box isn't the first thing to try.

The typical setup to record from your DirecTV Reciever/DVR to a VCR or DVD recorder is: * DirecTV Receiver/DVR Audio/Video Output -> matching TV A/V Input (e.g. INPUT1) * DirecTV Receiver/DVR A/V Output -> matching DVD/VCR Recorder A/V Input * DVD/VCR Recorder A/V Output -> matching TV A/V Input (e.g. INPUT2) Use the TV's Input/Source Selector Function to switch between t...

You'll find several good videos on YouTube that show how to aim a Slimline HD dish. It can be tricky if you've never done it before.

See my response to your other post here .... https://forums.att.com/t5/DVR-Receivers/Chirping-and-pixelation/m-p/4494280#M33891 Need more information about your equipment (model numbers), satellite signal readings, and troubleshooting you've tried so far. The more details you can provide the better we can help.

HDMI interfaces are very susceptible to electrical issues, such as voltage spikes and poor grounding. How old is your home's electrical wiring? Is the dish properly grounded to your home's electrical service?

"Not Available" means that your TV is not set for the correct INPUT for your DirecTV Receiver. Or the cable isn't connected properly.

We're customers like you, so we can't do that. You need to call 1-800-DIRECTV and request they cancel those premium channels. There's no way to do it online. And be prepared for some hard sell to keep those channels.

No. A simple "red button reset" is like removing and reapplying the AC power. Kind of like rebooting a PC. In the Setup Menu there is an option to "Reset and Clear Everything", but that's a drastic last resort.

Unfortunately you can't do any of those things when replacing a DVR. What I've done is take photos of those Series Link screens and then recreate them on the new DVR. Shows not currently airing will need to be added closer to their next air dates.

It's smaller than one meter. The Slimline HD dish is about 32" across and 28" tall. More information here .... https://forums.att.com/t5/HDTV/What-dish-size-is-required-for-HD-Directv/td-p/4659999

You can call AT&T to request that those bills be combined. But check out other posts here first. Lots of issues with combined AT&T and DirecTV accounts. More information here .... https://forums.att.com/t5/Account-Management/Things-to-Know-when-Combining-your-Bill/m-p/4735111#M488

That's how it works. The RC73 remote cannot control audio device power on/off, only volume. You'll need to rely on "HDMI CEC", if your TV and Bose support that.

No, you need to use a SWM splitter. They're specially designed to pass the appropriate DC voltages and control frequencies used by the SWM equipment.

The symbol means "Keep Until I Delete". This show will not be deleted automatically to make room for new recordings until you actually delete it yourself.

Not sure why DirecTV decided they wanted the new RC7X remotes to be "clicky". You can use an older RC6X remote, as long as you don't care about RF remote control. Or find a nice Universal Remote instead.
