@rpreuss I thought 4.4.2 was already available for GALAXY s4? @mastaofdacat the human body is an excellent signal attenuator.. I've seen radios bluetooth devices and cellphones have signal reception problems simply from touching a body. Maybe you were close to not getting a signal as it was and then coming close to your skin sent it over. That could also reflect wifi or c...

Okay so, I was the one who had the refurbished Note 3 that AT&T sent me (which also had the GPS problem) into Samsung. Samsuing did repair it, and MyTracks + Google Nav worked fine on both MJ5 and NB4, as well as the newest 4.4.2 android update. HOWEVER, samsung claimed in the warranty paperwork that they replaced "MEA FRONT-OCTA ASSY(SVC/BLK)", with the repair descriptio...

Great to see this available this morning! Very funny ot receive a dozen+ notifications in 2 hours. I had a short conversation with Enuratique . S/he should be paid far far more than s/he is! Is it so hard for these companies to provide communication to their customers? I know there are concerns of trade secrets/compeition, and that we (tech inclined/aware/and loud custome...

Samsung has repaired the phone that AT&T sent me in hopes it would fix to the GPS issue. This is what Samsung said about the phone: Original Problem: CONNECTIVITY - GPS - WEAK SIGNAL/COVERAGE ERROR DISPLAY Problem found: LCD BLANK/SEG. MISSING/LINES Solution: REPLACED LCD This is the second time I had Samsung repair a phone under warranty, and the second time they replace...

How you know this, what the changelog contains,... anything? Since you obviously know more than any of us, I'd like to make it clear we would love to hear more details from you. All praise @Enuratique if this ...

@pdqgp wrote: I'm not familiar with Rooting. Not opposed to it as I jailbroke my first couple iPhones. Yeah .. according to ATT and samsung it would void your warranty .. so don't do it unless you konw that you can just reverse the whole proceedure if you had to. The downside is the amount of hoops you have to work through. Not for the faint of heart. On the up side, I re...

Another update. With AT&T's blessing, I am sending the refurbished Note 3 I just received from AT&T into Samsung for investigation of the GPS issue. In truth, I expect to get the phone back completely factory reset, with the same problem. But I am hoping otherwise. I will test it once I get it back from Samsung..... Lets see what they do

I received a one time $25 credit. Others have received 3 months of data service half off, which would be around $45 total value. Keep complaining.

The only way I was able to prove how troublesome the issue is was by a...
