Per MLB rules, if you do not live inside a team's broadcast market, the games will be blacked out for you on the regional sports channels. Where do you live?

The DVR is not intended for long term storage. If you want to achieve recordings, you might consider using a DVD recorder to record any programs that you want to save long term to a DVD.

Do you know of a DVR from another TV provider that automatically extends the time of the recording of a program that goes pass the scheduled end time shown in the Guide?

If you want to cancel your service, pick up the phone and call Customer Service at the 1-800-288-2020. I'm not aware of any TV or phone service provider that allows you to cancel your service online.

U-verse is limited to 4 live streams which are used to watch and/or record live TV. That is what you pay for. If 2 or more TV's are watching the same live channel, that counts as the use of one stream. You can also watch recorded progamming on other TV's when all live streams are in use.

It could have saved me the time not going through the motions to get set up and follow this troubleshooting trail. Disappointed to NOT have this convenience. Can you post a link to where that is described?

No, that feature does not exist. I'm curious as to why you need the feature to view but not record a certain channel?

Since the issue is with your TV, I would suggest that you contact Samsung product support at 1-800-726-7864.

However, the programming that was included in those packages will be available on ESPN College Extras, a new channel launching later this summer. E...

It's not a problem. Your system is working as designed. The feature is called "soft padding". See the descision in the thread found below. https://forums.att.com/t5/Total-Home-DVR/ALL-of-my-recordings-start-early-big-hassle-to-fast-forward/m-p/4245400#M21362
