Spent time with a a Directv technical person on the phone today - did some troubleshooting but what seemed to "solve" the problem was disconnecting the power to the DECA's and TV and then re-established the connection. Tech rep also "sent some info" to the Genie and we re-booted that too. All seems to work well now. We'll see how it goes.

Last weekend we had our new 2013 Samsung UN60F8000 connected to the Genie HR44/500 via DECA by Directv installers. Samsung TV software was updated to the latest. We have 2 problems: 1. FF on recorded shows is choppy and actually shows previous frames and way forward frames, making it hard to decide when to resume play. If you press play on the wrong "frame" you may be bac...

Thanks. I tried but no luck. Still everything is still "volume up" (mute, vol down, vol up). Here is what I did: Av2 mute + select for two flashes, release entered 963 Ch down Then tried to re-teach BA system. Same result. Any other thoughts? John

I have a Samsung Smart TV, Boston Acoustics TVee26 Soundbar and RC66RX control from DTV. I cannot get the RC66 and TVee26 properly programmed to handle volume up/down and mute, despite following BA TVee26 learning instructions.
