Need help with an AT&T easement on my property

We are looking to install a pool on our property.   We did a survey on the home and it turns out there is an easement from Ohio Bell from 6/10/1947 running through the back of the property. I would like to know who to contact about seeing if this is an active easement.   If possible we would like to ask for an encroachment or  release of this easement so we can finalize our pool design.
