I thought I read at some point that ATT offered the Nexus 7 2013 edition as a Tablet for their customers? Is that true? Can I purchase the tablet and add 4G LTE to it?

you can look for a nexus 7 with LTE but ATT as far as I know never sold the device.
finding one might be a chore with the nexus 9 out. Google is no longer selling them on the play store.
