Adding second voice line
I changed to U-verse voice the end of last year. I still have a POTS line into the house for my job (home office). Is it possible to add that line to my existing U-verse service without adding another gateway?

markg_1 - Yes, the tel 1/2 jack on the gateway - you will always have only one gateway - supports two lines. The second line is less expensive.
The first line is on the inner prongs on the jack and the second line is on the outer prongs. You can distribute it as such through standard wiring.
To break out the second line you need to either reverse the prongs at a wired jack or use a two line coupler (NOT a one line two set coupler) or a two line telset that will take the single jack connection and pick up the lines correctly.
The two lines will be combined in the u-verse voice mail. If you need them to be in seperate boxes, you will need to set options.
