Text Alerts from Local News Station

hi Y'all,

I probably should call  AT&T but thought I'd ask here first.

My local TV station has this free program where they will send text alerts for things  like weather alerts/updates,  missing children (Amber Alerts) in Florida  and so on.

Again,  they offer this service for free and there is a list I can pick from.  I'm not interested in latest sports scores,  horoscopes, ect..

So,  since I have the Unlimited Family Texting  on my 3 phones  (Family Plan)  then,  AT&T  shouldn't charge anything extra,  correct?

Thankx in Advance,

B.W.

Correct, you have unlimited family texting so all incoming and outgoing text messages are free.  (Or rather, you've already paid for it.)

That's correct. As long as you have unlimited texting, you should be fine and shouldn't be charged for anything. Smiley Wink

Heeyyyy  Asatoran  & happy Friday to ya,

thankx for confirming  my thoughts about this.

All I need to do is re-read thru the fine print to be sure  it's only *text*  they'll be sending.

again,  thankx for the reply,
