I've been trying to update mine since it came out at 10am. Still says preparing update an hour and 46 mins later. Make sure you are connected to wi-fi and have almost 5gb of space free. I had to delete all my music and pictures 😞
I downloaded to my iPhone 5, but didn't install it. I wanted to see what problems people report first. I'll install on my iPad, and my 6 will come with iOS 8 on it, so I'll keep my 5 with iOS 7 as a fallback for a while.
My iPhone 5 hasn't run so good after updating. Nothing major, except that Safari seems slow, and won't load some pages, after update. Had some other strange behavior, but nothing that flat out wouldn't work, just glitches and annoyances.

No problems found so far except afterwards it did not want to sync wirelessly with my Mac but a simple reboot of the phone and iTunes fixed that .
I was not to concerned with bugs its been out in beta for awhile.
You will get a lot of app updates.
