The S5 and S3 are both using the same phone#? They're both active on AT&T?
These are SMS messages, not some other messaging app?

This shouldn't be happening with true network based SMS (should only be one SIM associated with your phone number), unless its from a some messaging app as mentioned above.
If its an app, log out of the app on the old phone.
