iphone international calls

Question

I think this is a dumb question but I am a new iphone owner. How do I tell my family to call me when I am in Europe? Do they dial my number as if I am home or do they have to dial 011 and then the country code? Or does AT&T know where I am when abroad?

They dial your number as they would in the states. Just make sure you have an international plan while you're over the or those calls can get spendy! If you want to call them, the. You'll have to dial the US country code. This is how it works for me

Just remember the roaming fees. Mobile-to mobile is not an exception to roaming fees. If you don't switch your data off, buy a roaming package for your data. Many people have had rude surprises who have used their phone in Europe like they were back in the States.
