AutoPay - How To Enroll & Change Your Payment Method

We all know life is busy! Paying bills can be time consuming and we all know time is valuable! Save some time by enrolling into autopay!

How To Enroll in AutoPay!

  1. Go to AutoPay. If you have multiple accounts, select the account you want to sign up for AutoPay.
  2. Toggle AutoPay On.
  3. Follow the prompts to sign up for AutoPay.
  4. Repeat these steps for each account you want to sign up.

Allow 2 billing cycles for your automatic payments to start. Continue to pay as usual until your bill says that the amount due will be paid by your bank account or credit/debit card. This information is displayed near the top of your bill. You'll have time to review your statement before it is automatically paid in case you have any billing questions.

Tips:

Keep your payment method up to date!
Keep an eye on your bill! Billing changes can occur.

I have a new credit card number. My method of payment needs to be changed to this new number.  I do not want to deduct from my bank, which seems to be the only option when I go to the site to "change method of payment".

Hi @jimjen1520,

I apologize it isn't letting you update your card.  There could a browser issue as I haven't seen this happen before.  Does it give you any options to update, like with a checking account #?  If you haven't already, I would log out of myAT&T, clear your cache and cookies, and log back in.  If you continue to have issues, you may need to contact us directly via Chat to troubleshoot.

Thanks

I turned off "AutoPay" on PREPAID but I got charged. How to refund?

Hi,

I have AT&T PREPAID number and I've set it to AutoPay until the time I go back to my country (Thailand) so I changed the "AutoPay" to "OFF" before the next cycle began. However, I got charged on the credit card still. How can I refund it back? If you need evidence please let me know.

Also, Since I am not in the state at the moment, is there any other chance besides phone call that I can contact for support?

Thanks,

Susita
