What do I do about my phone's payment after not paying for it for over a year
My dad did the Samsung Note trade in for my current samsung S22 phone, but my dad unfortunately got terminated from his previous job and has been unemployed for over 2 years, so there has been no payments on my at&t plan. Phone number has been given to someone else already and I don;t know what to do as I'm 17 I don't know if im able to pick up the payments or what

If the phone number is lost, and account was sent to collections., what are you expecting to do?

You can't assume your dad's debt. AT&T won't even talk to you. You can try and see if your phone will work on a prepaid MVNO of AT&T. It might. Or it might be blocked. You won't know until you try
