4G Connectivity and Celluar Issues

Hi,

I'm using a IOT Hat device that uses the cellular network to send SMS and make calls. I've done my research before hand and ATT said the device was approved for their network. Unfortunately the device isn't working, and before i buy a phone to test it on since my primary phone is with this carrier I wanted to reach out and see if anyone could help.

we have a tower in our area that has been down for a two weeks now with no resolution in site. I can drive 10 miles north or south and I am get 5G with full bars, but where I live I have nothing. Fortunately my internet is T-Mobile Home Internet which works fine. But AT&T will not fix this tower and gives us false ETA’s on repairs
