GO phone with SIM card unused since 2015 Reactivate??
SAMSUNG GO PHONE ATT technology
I used this phone for some years between 2005 and 2014. Do I have to acquire a new SIM card per first time activation? Or can my present phone be activated with payment for the talk data plan?

No, that sim card has been deactivated if it hasn't been used since 2015. You will need a new sim card which will also have a new number. You can use the same phone, you will just need a new sim card.
