AT&T Phone not working with SIM

I have a Lumia 950, which I believe is still supported by AT&T's network. The device is unlocked, and it is the ATT branded version which has VoLTE, but the SIM card isn't working on the phone and I am unable to get service, make calls, and text. I know the card is fine, because it is new from September 2023, and it worked well on my iPhone 5s. The phone's settings say I can choose from two SIM profiles "T_mobile" and "T-mobile", but the SIM is ATT, and says ATT prepaid on it. How do I fix this? I don't get why an ATT phone refuses to work with a bloody ATT made SIM!

I know the card is fine, because it is new from September 2023, and it worked well on my iPhone 5s.

Since The iPhone 5s has been excluded from the AT&T network since February of 2022, an AT&T SIM card could not have worked in an iPhone 5s in September of 2023. iPhone 5S is not capable of voice calls over the LTE network which would have been a requirement. Trying to use a SIM card in an iPhone 5S  in September 2023, would have resulted in a message that the phone was not compatible with the network, probably suspension from service until the phone was replaced.

So this post isn't passing the sniff test...
