To update the phone number on your att.net account, follow these steps based on whether you have an AT&T Wireless number or not:

1. If you have an AT&T Wireless number:
   • Go to your Profile, then Contact info.
   • On the Phone tab, select Edit in the Billing phone numbers section.
   • Enter your wireless number as the primary or secondary number.
   • Check the box next to Use this number to recover your user ID or reset your password.
   • Select Save.
   • Complete any confirmation steps sent to your wireless number within 24 hours. Note that text message rates and other charges nay apply.

2. If you do not have an AT&T Wireless number:

• Go to your Profile and sign in with your AT&T Mail address and password.
• Select Sign-in info.
• Scroll to My linked accounts and select Manage email.
• Select Edit user information.
• Enter your wireless number and check Use this number to reset your password.
• Select Save Changes.
• Complete any final steps sent to your wireless number within 24 hours.
