Problem receiving email

Starting yesterday afternoon, addresses that had successfully sent me emails to my sbcglobal account got a bounce back. I tried to send myself a message from my gmail account and got this. Apparently, spam is getting through.


   ----- The following addresses had permanent fatal errors -----
<[email scrubbed]>
    (reason: 550 5.7.9 This mail has been blocked because the sender is unauthenticated. Yahoo requires all senders to authenticate with either SPF or DKIM. )

Having the same problem with email not being accepted due to "too many emails" (see message a few posts above this one) Those delays are creating even more email traffic when they attempt another delivery of bounced or unaccepted emails. THIS IS HORRIBLE!! My business is suffering. Come on ATT - FIX IT!!!

Hello, 

Just wanted to add I've also been having the same problem for 36ish hours. To add to this I test sent several emails to myself and from friends accounts. All go through normally unless they are coming from a Google email server to my att.net accounts. So not just email sent from Gmail addresses but anyone that uses Google as an email host. Tried to do online chat with both Google and att but no one is actually fixing this problem.

It's been 3 days for me with not receiving emails or delayed by 6-7 hours.  Att has NOT been helpful at all   I have filed a complaint with the FCC.  I suggest that everyone do that.  This will prompt ATT to address the issue

I think the problem might be fixed. My test emails from gmail to ATT just went through OK.

Seems to be ok receiving Gmail now. But I just sent a test message from a 365 account - nothing coming through there still.

Still same issues here in MI... Not getting emails w/attachments. Just tried sending 1 from my gmail acct and NOTHING... been getting calls for 3 days now from customers about emails getting kicked back... Hope it is fixed soon
