recover blocked messages

I inadvertently multi selected sender to block and selected friend. Noticed I didnt get an email from him. But by blocking it deleted entire history of his emails. Any way to recover the one from prior to blocking?

We understand that your facing issues with recovering your blocked emails. Let's get the help you need.

 

You will have to complete a Restore Request Form, and we'll do the rest.

 

Before submitting a request to restore messages, You must know:

  • Emails can only be restored from the past 7 days.
  • Once a restore request is submitted, it cannot be cancelled.
  • Restoration efforts aren't always successful.
  • Recovered email go into the same folders they were in on the restore date selected. Have the customer check the trash folder if emails are still missing after the restoration.
  • Back up any important email received or sent in the past 7 days.

So saga continued with no support.  Filled out Restore request form based on the online help/ Acknowledged receipt but no action.  I post asking for help, ATT says I should fill out same form, but the 7 day limit clock is still ticking.  I reply I have done it already but will do again. I do, got a case number and "we will contact you soon"  .  Later I get comment back to my comment on help community that I have submitted the form twice....... an remarkably they give me the same advice for 3rd time.

Dear ATT..... if you have not fulfilled either of the first 2 requests, why would I bother a third.  Why would I bother with "help" that gets ignored.

Frustrating.  As an old guy, I miss the outstanding service ATT had in days of and the ability to talk with someone who would actually help and confirm the fix went through.
