Not receiving some emails from the same address

I'm running into an issue where I found out that people were sending me emails and I wasn't getting them all. I went through all the normal troubleshooting described but don't seem to be able to resolve it.

What's weirder is I am getting some emails from one address (delayed by like 7 minutes) and I don't get other emails from the same exact address (gmail account and its my son). Found out today that another company was trying to send me a reset password code and I wasn't getting and didn't get it till they sent it to me through another means to another email address.

Help please.

Not receiving all incoming messages

Additionally there are emails I always use to get that I don't seem to be getting so it makes me think its not the senders but something going on with my account. None of these accounts are blocked, none are showing up in Spam, none have specific filters against them.

Hi @Luxor2002! Thank you for reaching out to us! We understand that you're facing issue with receiving emails. We hear you, and are happy to assist you.

There are several reasons on why you might not be receiving email from a specific user. Please check on the below steps:

You may have blocked either their email address or domain extensions (for example, com, org, net). Check if you have the Blocked Addresses feature enabled:

  1. In the upper right-hand corner, select the Gear, and choose More Settings to access Settings.
  2. On the Settings menu, in the left-hand column, select Security and Privacy
  3. Under Blocked Addresses in the right-hand window, you can check for any email addresses being blocked.
  4. Scan the list of blocked addresses for the ID of the account being investigated.
Heads up: You could've block a whole domain if you do not enter a valid email address. Check all blocked addresses listed.
  5. To remove a blocked address, highlight it and click the trash can icon.

If no erroneous blocks were found, or no blocked addresses exist, check the filters. You may have created email filters.

  1. In the upper-right corner, select the Gear, and choose More Settings to access Settings.
  2. On the Settings menu, from the left-hand column, select Filters

Example 1: You created a filter to route messages with pizzahut.com in the From field to the folder named Trash.

  • If this is an email you assume is missing, please check the folder for the message(s) in question.
  • If the messages are found, please check filters/folders. You can leave the filters as is, edit, or delete as they see fit.

Also, please try resetting your password as this could help resolving the issue. Please review our AT&T Mail support for more information.

Let me know how it goes.

For further assistance we're here to assist you.

Thank you for your help. I've tried all of the following steps. Gmail is one of the domain names and while there are gmails blocked, I don't think its blocking the whole thing.  Along with that sometimes I get an email from my sons gmail account and other times I don't, even on the same day or within a matter of a few minutes from each other. And the ones I do get are delayed.

1. I've searched all the blocked emails and my son's and the company that contacted me are not on it.

2. I've searched the filters and there are no filters.

3. I've changed the password to try to see if that would reset things, that did not work.

4. I've checked spam, trash and all other folders to see if its hiding anywhere and its not

Also, if its helpful, these aren't big file emails, its literally an email that says Test 1, Test 2, Test 3 all the way to Test 5 and I only got 2 of them and both were fairly delayed.

Any help would be appreciated!
