Disconnecting linked accounts

Does anybody know how to disconnect two email accounts? Not SUB accounts....this is an email subaccount under a main account. Somehow they got linked and no one seems to know how to unlink them. (For example: [email scrubbed]    Sub account, under this main one, is [email scrubbed]    But now they are linked, requiring the same password, and it just never works properly.

Hi @OxfordJ! Thank you for reaching out to us! We understand that you have issues disconnecting your sub email and you've questions regarding the same. We hear you, and are happy to assist you.

- Go to your **myAT&T Profile**.
- Sign in if prompted.
- Scroll down to **My linked accounts**.
- Choose **Remove this account** for the AT&T account you want to unlink.
- If you're trying to remove a canceled account with a balance due, you'll be asked to make a payment.
- You can also select:
- A secondary user to replace you as the primary user.
- No one as the primary contact account.

Remember that unlinking accounts won't combine your bills or bundle your services; it simply provides easy access with a single ID and password. If you need further assistance, feel free to ask!

Thank you for contacting AT&T Community Forums,

Rob, AT&T Community Specialist.

There is NO option to remove an account. I do not want to use a single ID and password. I want the accounts unlinked. Why is this so difficult?
