DSL Service showing unavailable at my adrress even though this address had service for several years

I live in my moms home she lived in for about 6 years. She had ATT DSL for several years here but eventually cancelled it once she got sick. I moved in and decided to get DSL as its the only option for internet service I have. I applied for the ATT ACCESS program and was approved but cant take advantage of the program because DSL is coming up as unavailable here on ATT's end of things. If this address has had ATT DSL before, then shouldn't it still be serviceable? I don't understand why I cant get service. Can someone help me understand whats going on?
