Internet going down everyday, all day for over a week
I am super frustrated with At&t, they don't even seem to care the wifi keeps going down everyday. Half the time they are not even aware there is an outage. I can't get any info on when this will be solved, why it's happening. I'm never even notified. How is my child supposed to do school work? Is anyone else having this problem this week? Super frustrated, I wish I could just get Xfinity, at least I know they don't have outages everyday and their internet speed is way faster than AT&T.

Hi @batblove55555, thank you for reaching out to us! We understand the importance of having a stable internet connection. This is not the experience we'd like you to have, and we would like to turn this around.
To get started, we'd recommend following our troubleshooting steps for your internet service.
Additionally, try restarting your Wi-Fi gateway to get your internet up and running.
You can also restart your gateway using the Smart Home Manager:
This could also be an issue with internet outage, we recommend that you try checking if there is an ongoing outage in our website about check for internet outages.

When you say "wifi keeps going down everyday. Half the time they are not even aware there is an outage" you make it sound like your Internet is going out yet you say wifi. These are two different items.
First you need to distinguish which it is.
When you are having problems, are you talking about Wi-Fi (connection from a device to the gateway) or the Internet (Broadband light on your gateway is not solid green)?

I am having similar issues with the Internet. For the last 2 weeks, every day at about 2:30 pm, the Internet connection is lost (flashing red on the modem), unplugging the modem and plugging it back in per the troubleshooting instructions doesn't work). Wait until 5:30 - 6:00 pm and the connection comes back on. I called support and was on the phone with them for 1/2 an hour and went through their checklist and finally he agreed to schedule a technician to come out in three days. Naturally, after I got off the phone with him, the connection came back on. I made sure it was still on the next morning before I cancelled the service call. AT&T reports no outage during this time frame. I suspect they are working upstream somewhere from my location that is interrupting my connection during those times. This is getting very frustrating as I am working from home and need a stable connection!

What type of Internet service do you have (e.g., DSL, Fiber, Internet air)? What model gateway?
DSL has been known to have issues due to certain things that caused intererence to the signal (e.g., nearby radio stations at night, outdoor lighting at night, ceiling fans, electric tread mill, neighbor's really bad TV, etc.).
So if you have DSL, try to figure out if anything in your house or nearby changes from 2:30-6:00?

I have Fiber, with the BGW320-500 gateway. Not DSL. Today, it just hiccupped once during those time frames while I was on a Teams call with my manager! Only 10 minutes down.

Update...issue resolved. Turned out to be a bent fiber cable from the pole to the house causing weak signal strength. No explanation for the periodicity of the outages though.
