Speed and gaming further from the internet hub in household?

I don’t think we have fiber optics cable but i’ve done whatever i can to get better wi-fi to my sons Ps5 at the opposite side of the house. would i benefit from a high dollar more powerful router than the ones Att have?

How far away from the gateway is the ps5? How many walls between them. A mesh routing system may be better than a single router. Many mesh systems are available for under $200. Many Asus routers can be linked together to make a mesh system. So you could buy one now and add another later if you still need to extend the WiFi.

Be aware you would still need the Att gateway to get internet service. Another router would connect to the gateway.

Many Black Friday sales going on now to get a good price.
