Iphone 5s sending but not receiving sms text messages, when iMessage still works.
My iphone 5s has recently hit a big texting problem. when texting someone for a while it would say "not delivered" on both of our phones and i would receive many duplicates of his text messages all at once when they finally did come through. But now everything i send does go through and they are received, but i receive none of my own sms text messages. iMessage works just fine. This has gone on for several days, i've taken out my sim card and put it back in, updated my phone, toggled all possible related settings and reset my phone several times.

Have you deleted your message thread entirely? It sounds to me like there is an affected message messing up the incoming texts. Also try to reset your network settings as well. This can help greatly in refreshing the network. To start tap on Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
To test your messaging, please text short code 151 with the phrase “TEST”. You will get an automated reply regarding your text messages status. If the above steps do not resolve the issue; I invite you to check out our helpful Troubleshoot & Resolve tool. This feature can go over any steps we may have missed.

My iMessages aren’t working. So most of my messages aren’t going through at all. How do I fix this? I have a 7plus and the software is updated
