Galaxy S7 Edge WiFi turns on and off repeatedly.

Hi there! My Galaxy S7 Edge has problems with constantly keeping turned on wifi. It was ON and OFF earlier. Right now I can`t even connect to WiFi. I assumed new software update could be the issue, but It didn`t even upgrade. In order to upgrade I have to connect to WiFi which is not possible right now with this device and it won`t upgrade through network data (maybe I don`t know how to do it)

If I need to upgrade software, is there any way to do it with USB or distantly or through network data? Help me to get out of this circle. This is So frustrating

Software issues can definitely be a pain if they aren’t working properly; I completely understand your concern and would be glad to help you!

 

As far as the Wi-Fi issues, if you are only having this problem with one network, please try to Forget the network. This is under the settings of the Wi-Fi network when you connect to it. Anytime I have weird issues with my network at home, this does the trick!

 

Generally if you are having problems after a software update, a factory data reset helps clearing up any bugs. Please be sure to back up your data as this will erase all of the phone’s storage. For a step by step guide on how to do this, please visit the Device Support center. Be sure to select your device’s make/model, click on Tutorials, and then Backup & Restore.

 

You can also troubleshoot for software issues on the Troubleshoot and Resolve Tool. After selecting your device again, please choose Software update. In any case you are unable to update the software; you can visit a Samsung Experience kiosk at a Best Buy if there is one near you. The agents in store are trained for troubleshooting, and may have the ability to manually push the update to your device.
