SBCglobal.net email support
My elderly Mother can't access her email account through the domain, sbcglobal.net. She is quite forgetful and can't remember her password. When trying to reset her password it takes her to the option of answering two security questions which she doesn't remember the answer to. I know this question has been asked before, but I haven't seen a solution that adequately addresses this problem. Is there a solution for my Mother? Can I be added to her account in a way, and with her permission, where I can keep track of her passwords and security questions & answers in the future? My Mother does use AT&T DSL to access the internet utilizing her landline phone number.

Same situation for my elderly mother (she has had @sbcglobal.net e-mail for 20 years and she's still a customer). ATT said they couldn't help her (after hours and hours on the phone with various reps) and referred her to a tech company that wanted to charge her $49. (and that would only cover help for the next 5 business days). They told her they'd be sending a recovery password (by MAIL) that she could use to get back into her e-mail, that never arrived. She called ATT again and they told her they'd express mail it. It STILL hasn't arrived one week later. It's as if all activity and ability to log on to her e-mail account stopped on April 21 without warning. Can someone please answer the numerous complaints about this (and not just some robo response - actually READ them)?

I'm finding this plethora of similar issues, elderly parents can't sign in all of a sudden, etc. and I have the same issue. Being technically savvy, it's absolutely maddening that the customers of At&T who were shuffled through the Yahoo purchase, yada yada yada cannot receive one simple answer to this not-so-difficult question. There's a reason that much of the intelligent public thinks that Yahoo email is nothing but (Edited per community guidelines), and they've proven it time & time again by taking advantage of especially the elderly who trusted their name. Pull your contacts out of these (Edited per community guidelines) services and be done with their (Edited per community guidelines) answers because they've apparently just tossed anyone who used an sbcglobal.net email out the (Edited per community guidelines) window. And they should be ashamed.
