SBCglobal.net email support
My elderly Mother can't access her email account through the domain, sbcglobal.net. She is quite forgetful and can't remember her password. When trying to reset her password it takes her to the option of answering two security questions which she doesn't remember the answer to. I know this question has been asked before, but I haven't seen a solution that adequately addresses this problem. Is there a solution for my Mother? Can I be added to her account in a way, and with her permission, where I can keep track of her passwords and security questions & answers in the future? My Mother does use AT&T DSL to access the internet utilizing her landline phone number.

My original posting wasn't read completely or I wouldn't have received this option for resetting a password. As I stated in my original posting, my elderly Mother doesn't remember her password, nor does she remember the answers to the two security questions which was our only option at resetting password. Please give me an option that will work for these circumstances. My Mother does not have an online account with MyATT, although she does have a landline which is how her DSL service is provided.

I believe I have the same question. I'm thinking there must be a way to add a recovery email and recovery cellphone number to both of my parent's accounts - but I haven't figured out yet how to do this. I've been doing online searches and there are instructions out there but nothing helpful yet.
I'm curious if you have figured anything out yet about this or gotten a better answer from elsewhere?

I had the same question earlier - but I got the answer via online chat with an AT&T person. Go to the www.att.com page. Then select the line under the Person icon in the upper right hand corner. It shows a drop down menu. Select View Profile. It brings up a page with three squares. Select Contact Information. Then add or edit the recovery number and recovery email address.

If you already have a valid recovery email address or phone number on record you can use Forgot ID/Password to reset your password instead of the security questions.

My sbcglobal email account on my desktop seems to be working, I receive emails and can open them, but then the page is
frozen, I cannot reply, cannot print, cannot advance to the next message or delete. I have shut down and restarted the computer, no luck. It seems that the system is blocked by some earlier command but I do not know what that could be or how to get rid of it. I have no problem with emails on my Ipad. Can you help, suggest how I can make my system work again.?

Have not received any reply to my question. Just been asked to sign in , which did not work repeatedly. Is there the possibility to speak to a person and get answers? I have been an AT&T customer for decades. It should be possible
to get answers somehow.
