Just got a replacement DVR after the first one we had failed. This one worked well for a couple of days, but now it's skipping every minute or so. It makes it unusable. I tried rebooting the DVR and it fixed the issue for a day or so, then it started again. It will go as long as maybe 2-3 minutes without skipping. What gives????

So, I did the unplug, wait 30 seconds and replug DVR thing three times. When the DVR finished rebooting, all I got was a red X and an 8 right below it. What is going on?

Let's see. I've unplugged everything, then done hard reset on the modem and plugged the rest of the devices in this order: DVR, WAP, receiver. Nothing. The last thing I tried was factory reset of the wireless receiver. Nothing.

I've tried all the solutions posted on this forum, except for the master reset of the DVR, which I'm reluctant to do because I'd lose all my recordings. I've master reset the router/modem, the wireless receiver, unplugged everything and restarted in the right process, etc. etc. etc. Still nothing. Any other options?

Ok, I did the reset (pressed the red button for 10 seconds) on the modem with all the other devices unplugged. After the router came back, I plugged in the DVR. After that came back, I plugged in the WAP. After that came in, I plugged in the wireless receiver. Still no DVR listings. We have fiber optic, so there is no coax.

Ok. I unplugged router, DVR and WAP. Plugged in router first and let it do its thing. Once all lights were green, I plugged in the DVR and waited. After that, I plugged in the WAP. I am still unable to see the DVR listings in my wireless receivers. Any other options?

Hello. I've been using my system with no problems for a few months now. Yesterday, out of the blue, the DVR became unavailable from my wireless receiver. It's happened a few times before and it was easily solved by rebooting the wireless receiver. This time nothing seems to help. I've rebooted the receiver, the DVR, the network access point. Nothing works! I can see the u...
