Seriously? The viewer is expected to go channel by channel and do this? Who has time? And what the OP is saying is that ATT changes it up so you have to do this frequently. Apparently they know you'll be blocking out their shopping channels so they change it up like a spammer replaces VIAGRA with V1AGRA.

This is unreal to have to go through these many steps. Uverse should have this built-in already, with the ability to browse by category as the OP is trying to do. It should also get rid of the 100's of shopping and useless channels. And if I'm not subscribed to the channel, why am I seeing it? CUSTOMER ABUSE.

It's ridiculous of ATT to make you do this. It's customer abuse, especially with the endless shopping channels. Does anyone really do their shopping on TV? It's like if Google was a spammer while providing gmail services, then gave you some convoluted way to delete your spam.

OP specifically said, "Please don't suggest customizing the guide. We did that and find it minimally useful." Going through 600+ channels one by one, checking to see if they are under the subscription or not, and going through the steps of disabling it is ridiculous. The default should be that these channels are not visible, with only one button or setting to enable or dis...
