Wow! It's been a really long time since I have logged into these forums and things have really changed. That being said I can't figure out how to get around to subjects so I just taking a shot at posting here. I have been a Uverse subcriber since the fall of 2006 and love ther service and have enjoyed the upgrades to the operationg system. That being said there are two fe...

Ok in all fairness, I did call my son in law who is a repairman for att Uverse, and he suggested rebooting all devices and the RG. So I did unplug each, one at a time until they restarted, and then the RG. Went back to the main tv and pushed the VOD button and had pictures in about 4 seconds when it took 2 1/2 minutes yesterday. So not sure this will work for everyone but ...

Doing a reply to my own post is a bit tacky agreed, but do any of you old timers remember in 2007 when Uverse did that nation wide system upgrade and blew the whole system up for 3 days? I always wondered what happened to the person who did that? Guess I now have a sneaky feeling they are in charge of IT software programming changes for the system. Hmmm could it be that t...

I have read all the nice posts about switching to list mode and they are very helpful, thanks folks. Now that being said, yesterday I was going to select a movie for the grandkids and even one of them said, "Wow, this is really slow!" while we were simply waiting for the original application to load (from the mouthes of babes). This is well before I even had the choice fo...

Been a long time since I've posted here, years I think. I have to agree making on demand an app was a real stupid call there AT&T. I will be canceling the screen pack simply because it takes so darned long to load the app. To those who may remember me I quick hello.

I guess the easiest way to explain this is that you can have up to 4 feeds coming into your house at the same time. SD uses 1 feed and HD uses 2 feed so any combination that does not exceed 4 will work. An example would be you could watch an HD channel (2 feeds used) and still record 2 SD feeds. If both TV's are watching the same channel then they share that feed so you o...

Wow! All of this because of my statement about never hearing Detroit called "The D"........... Don't really care what the Detroit News says, not a reader of that paper anyway, I was only expressing my personnel experiences having lived in Michigan for 55 years (minus 4 years in the early 70's with visits to Thailand and Texas compliments on my loving Uncle Sam) the only c...

But I have never heard of Detroit called the "Big D", that has always been synonymous for Dallas IMHO. You need to leave Waterford more. No...
