This was smooth: They send the replacement along with a shipping label to return the bad one. Good job, AT&T. One more followup to my own after a month. The swap to a new unit is definitely th...

Avedis, what jitter are you seeing on your connection? I have 5ms and have no problems with the (recently replaced) microcell. Download Speed: 14241 kbps (1780.1 KB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1052 kbps (131.5 KB/sec transfer rate) Latency: 28 ms Jitter: 6 ms

@ploom1 -- I had the same problem. It was completely solved by getting AT&T to replace the MicroCell under warranty. FWIW.

Solution: I got AT&T to swap out the troublesome MicroCell under warranty. With the new MicroCell, all is good. I conclude that the problem "Phone Loses Connection after several hours" was caused by a faulty MicroCell. Now the iPhone stays connected to the MicroCell overnight. I can come and go, MicroCell reconnects each time I return. If you are having the same problem, ...

Yes, @Avedis53, the troublesome MicroCell was the only one I had owned.

My experience: Microcell stopped working with no explanation (instead of four solid green, it went to three). Then started again a few days later. Reading here, guy in VT (next state over, same ISP??) had the same thing at the same time. Based on this, I suspect the ISP. I would push them real hard, asking for higher level support to verify that packets on all the ports r...

I'll just join in to echo that I'm having the same problem: MicroCell works much of the time. Four green lights solid. But after a period of working fine including comings and goings, the iPhone no longer connects. Still four solid greens, but no connection. iPhone is looking for conventional towers, maybe one bar, maybe no signal whatever. Usually cycling the power on th...

I'm also assuming that this is independent of the distance between your iPhone and the Mcell. You've tried Airplane Mode toggling with the iPhone right next to the Mcell when this happens and it st...

I'm the person Otto mentioned, also with Fairpoint (in NH). Same experience: MicroCell started flashing green 3G light late last week. All the troubleshooting and help did nothing. Then, yesterday Monday August 11 it went back to normal. Botched AT&T update? Fairpoint's network blocking port 4500 or 500? We'll probably never know. Glad to have it working again. Thanks Ott...

Same timing as for me. Mine went out sometime between 5pm August 6 and 6pm August 8th. Bounced back to life with no change on my end yesterday August 11th. AT&T update that didn't work? We'll never know.
