Not that it will do you much good now...but when I send items back based on a conversation with Customer Service, I try always to get the name of the person and reference it in a written recap that accompanies the device. Don't know if you did that or not, but if you had referenced that the issue of the cracked screen was discussed, it might have made things a little easie...

There are multiple answers to this question: * What's the latest version AT&T has released and supports: 4.6.0.167 (that's what's on the AT&T website) * What's the latest official version to be found on Blackberry's servers: latest I've seen is 4.6.0.224 * What's the latest beta version to be found on the internet: as of today, it appears to be 4.6.0.245 Other wireless pr...

One way is to use the advanced options, open your most recently saved backup (probably from when you upgraded) on the left side, clear the calendar entries from your right side, and copy over the calendar from the backup.

Not to diminish your experience...but it bears repeating that there have also been thousands upon thousands of Bolds put in service that have not had your level of problems. I find 3g speed much faster...especially in browsing. I have occasional calls failing, but probably no worse than my 8300. My battery life is less than the 8300...but not so bad that it causes me prob...

Kudos to all of you who contributed to making this a valuable thread. I too was unable to connect using 6.9.115; when I called Laptop Support on Monday, I got a helpful individual but he didn't have access to the updated version of ACM or the process for removing the old drivers. This process did the trick. Thanks for taking the time to help out the rest of us.

This is not a tech support site. It's a user discussion site. Hard to give you any help based on your post. Are you trying to get a problem resolved or just post a gripe?

Voice plans are separate from messaging plans and they are both separate from data plans (which give you access to email and internet). The Costco near me carries the Curve; you might check with them or check online. I suspect the plans are not much different from place to place. You might also check Amazon.com for the Curve and AT&T plans.

There are a number of more current versions for your device that Blackberry has released...they're just not supported by AT&T. This website does a good job of locating latest versions...I assume it's okay to post the link; look at the top and make sure the version you're downloading matches exactly the model number. Note that an OS update for an 8310 is device-specific, n...

Looks to me that the date has slipped at least a couple of times. I think it was initially set for June. So if they post a date and then miss it, is that better than not posting a date that slips? It's just possible the release date isn't set in stone...could be any number of reasons, from hardware issues to supplier issues to issues with other vendors (iPhone for example)...

You do not need OS 4.5 to use Desktop Manager 4.5. Desktop Manager 4.5 is not device-specific; the 4.5 Operating System is device-specific and has been released (non-ATT versions, but usable on ATT devices) for the 8300, 8310 and 8320.

Not much. But I'd start by upgrading ACM to the latest version, which is 6.8: http://www.wireless.att.com/businesscenter/solutions/wireless-laptop/software.jsp
