The MicroCell is only capable of using DHCP. If you can, try configuring your router to always assign a specific IP address to the MicroCell's MAC address.

I get it now, I was wrong. When you said you had the terhing option, I didn't realize that you had a teterhing usage meter counter, and not the option to turn tethering on. I recant my statement and apologize speaking too hastily.

It sounds like your BES admin has either misconfigured their BES or is trying to lock you out of the intenet. You should give them a call, it's unlikely that this is AT&T's issue. Well, still that's how the technology works. It's possible that with such low signal the card didn't receive the disconnect notification, or realize that it's connection had been dropped so the connection client continued to show connected.
