I had the same error recently and in my case it turned out that the cables on the dish weren't properly shielded from the rain and as the result one of the cables had corroded over time. I would definitely get an AT&T tech to come out.

Simplest thing is to go to an AT&T corporate store (not a third party reseller) and they'll give you a new SIM free of charge. AT&T store locator .

I'm afraid you'll have to seek alternative routes for obtaining the update. AT&T firmware requires an active AT&T SIM in the phone if I'm not mistaken, and if the LG PC Suite isn't showing anything then most likely you're not going to get it through the official channels. This might help.

The best way is to do it at the corporate AT&T store. If you already have an unactivated SIM card you can also call the customer service and they should be able to do it over the phone.

While many basic phones of yesteryear have supported tethering via USB and sometimes Bluetooth, I believe that (at least AT&T's version) Rugby III had that capability disabled. So as other have indicated, tethering will not work on the AT&T's version of Rugby III.

Sorry, completely misunderstood your question, thought you wanted to use your AT&T phone with a different provider's SIM card.

Typically the phone will prompt you to enter the PUK when it's needed. If it doesn't then try to look up the user manualy for your model and it may tell you how to do it.

Best way is to ask AT&T CS, either by phone 1-800-331-0500 or via chat here on the site, they should be able to look it up.

You will get 4G LTE service in the areas where it runs on those bands. AT&T does not indicate which bands are in use in which areas, so it's hard to tell whether it'll work where you use it the most. In short, it's safer to get a phone that supports all 4 AT&T bands.

You can move your SIM freely between these phones without having to call AT&T as long as the SIM card they use is the same size. Since Lumia 920 is using a Micro-SIM and Galaxy S is using a regular (Mini) SIM, you'd need either a new SIM or an adapter. I don't know which Huawei phone you're interested in, so make sure it does indeed support every LTE band needed by AT&T. ...

It should although it is potentially possibly that it's too new and not sufficiently backwards compatible to work in such an old phone. But chances of that are pretty slim.
