Just an update... I went to the local AT&T store and explained the situation. They swore there was no way to add the unlimited data to my brother's line so that I could take it over but they were able to suspend his phone so I'm just paying the extra $10 a month until his contract is up in February. Still coming out cheaper than paying the $95 ETF. Thanks for your help.

Also she had stated I couldn't get the unlimited data plan on his line because it's tied to my contract. Ok well if that's the case then shouldn't it be tied to HIS contract since that's what I used to get it in the first place??

Thanks. I don't have his phone. He bought that. I'm going to try going down to the store this weekend and talk to someone in person and see what that gets me. It's just so silly that we could switch it around back then but not now.

I went ahead and called and they told me it was Texas-wide. Other areas are affected as well but she didn't want to go as far as to say nationwide. She said here in Texas we'd more than likely have internet again by this evening, but because Texas is so large she has to say "within 24 hours". Wow it's gonna be a longgggg day!

Just got off the phone with them. They said it's Texas-wide. Apparently other areas as well but she didn't want to say "nation-wide". She expects it to be up by this evening but because Texas is such a large state, she said it could take up to 24 hours. I didn't ask what the issue was.

I'm right outside of Houston and even tho my phone says 3G... it's not connecting at all. I tried doing a Speed Test and it said "Network communication issues". Should we call in or do they know there's an issue?

Click on the Sound Profile widget, then tap where it says Normal (not the radio button but in the text box), then from the drop down menu up top select Message and you will see Message Alert Tone. You can also get to Sound Profile by tapping on Menu/Settings/Sound Profile.

Just a follow up on this... When I called back the Customer Service Rep suggested trying a new battery so she sent that out. I don't know if that or the phone made a difference, but it worked for a little while.
