That is one of the annoying things about the Impression that I never had to deal with on my Razr. I generally have to delete all messages, and then reboot my Impression when that happens. It's usually about every other day.

The IPhone data plan is only compatible with the IPhone, so if you want to use a different phone, then you should switch to a data plan that is compatible with that phone.

Well, if the only reason you are cancelling a line only to turn around and activate a new line is so that you can get a discounted phone that you don't currently qualify for, you aren't really playing by their rules, you're trying to find a way around them. How long has it been? I would say if its been more than 5-7 business days (think Monday-Friday) then I would give them a call and ask for a follow up.

You can try. But they probably won't give you the unlock code. More than likely you will have to pay a 3rd party source to unlock your phone. Or contact the seller at E-Bay. Did they mislead you into stating the phone was unlocked? What kind of phone is it? If its an IPhone, there's no way they will give you an Unlock Code, they won't even give an unlock code to customers...

A PUK is a security code which will come up when the security code is entered incorrectly too many times. If you can verify the account, then AT&T will release the PUK to you. Otherwise, they can't because would breach privacy and security laws. You will have to find a landline phone to call customer service. 800-331-0500. Have you tried powercycling your phone? (I.E. turning it off, and then back on). If it was suspended and then reinstated then sometimes it takes a "reboot" to kick it back on.

Check out E-bay, and Craig's list. Tigerdirect sometimes has decent prices on older model GSM phones. Unfortunately if you don't want to pay full price through AT&T, and you dont want to renew your contract to get a discounted phone, then your only real option is to look towards the used market..

Unused text messages do not roll over to the following month. From what you are describing it looks like your bill cycle was changed, which is why your text messaging states only 300 messages (which is the 6 day difference between 10-2 & 10-8).. If you didnt request to have your bill cycle changed, then you should contact customer service during their normal business hours...
