If you are really worried about someone seeing the owner info if the phone is lost or stolen, why not put a security password on the phone so that way if anyone finds your lost phone, the only screen that they will be able to see is the owner info.

T-Mobile primarily uses WiFi for it's @Home feature on their 8320 Curves, this allows customers to make calls from an internet connection, instead of using their cell minutes. Very similar to Vonage. Exactly, and this is t...

Nothing at all, you need to subscribe to the data plan for the wifi to work correctly, and that gives you email and internet access wherever you are at. I guess if you want your internet to be faster, you could use the wifi for that, but I've tried using a friends 8320 from t-mobile on a 12 meg wifi connection and it's not all that much faster than my 8310 on edge.

1. yes, as long as you have a blackberry data package...you can also make your own ringtones and transfer them with the usb cable. 2. my old 8100 was pretty loud, not as loud as my curve but still loud, and I've heard that the 8110's speaker has been improved. 3. yes 4. as long as you exit out of programs when you are finished with them and don't leave them running in the...

How are you getting out of your address book when you go back to the home screen? If you are pressing the red end key, it will take you back to whatever menu you were in last when you go into it again. You may want to try going into the address book and hitting the back key and see if it gets you to where you want to be.

It should be called Blackberry Personal Add-on with Tethering, feature code TR33. Also, you must have your blackberry as the registered phone on your account for any of the blackberry features to show up. If all else fails, call CS and have them add it.

What happens when you go into the media folder and try to play a music or ringtone file? If the phone plays the sounds then there is some setting preventing it from ringing, if it doesnt play any sounds then most likely the speaker has gone out on the phone.

Nope, can't do it. No data plan= no internet access, which is needed to download the ringtone. You can always make your own ringtones and transfer them to the phone with the usb cable that came with the phone. Might save you a little money...

Both phones have built in GPS. They both work the same, there is nothing hidden in the 8820 that makes it any better than the curve. Don't let the price tag fool you, personally I think the 8820 is way overpriced.

Telenav gps navigator and At&t navigator are the same thing. They are both subscription services and are $9.99 a month. Telenav maps is free, but does not give you the turn by turn driving directions like the navigator programs do.

The phone hasn't been announced by anyone yet so it's still up in the air right now. My guess would be the end of summer.

First off, do you have a BlackBerry data plan on your account? Second, why go to a bar to play on your cell phone? (kidding of course)
