You can sync then try a restore and install the backup you just created. If that doesn't help and you've done the other battery saving tips. You might want to compare your daily usage to others. If you aren't a very heavy user, then perhaps there is something wrong with the backup or the device. If it is the backup, you can set it up as a new phone but that will lose your...

When you upgraded to 4.01 did you do a "Check for Update" or "Restore"? You can try going into "Settings, General, Reset" and then the "Reset Network Settings". Sometimes the restore from backup doesn't work perfectly. You probably already tried turning off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi plus turning brightness down.

Too much treble, not enough bass, not even when using the EQ and setting the bass booster. There is good sound clarity I'll admit, but not a wide range of sound depth. I have to say I had better sound quality on my Blackjack 2. I'v...

Sheik HF1 wrote: tfigurel wrote: When you did the restore, did you setup the iPhone as a new phone or select a previous backup? There have been cases where the backup gets corrupted by iTunes. I've seen this moving from one version of iTunes to another. If you don't want to do a full restore, you can just wipe the device and then connect to iTunes as a new device. If that...

The assistance data for A-GPS comes does not get blocked by Smart Limits or result in any data charge. This is required to support E911. However, to use location based services there is a SUPL (Secure User Plane Location) connection from the device (uses TLS) that does use data to make the more accurate location available to non-E911 location services. If anyone is intere...

If you use the latest version of iTunes and you sync first and you hit "Update" instead of "Restore"... The end result should be all the data is still there and any changes to application icon location you made should be intact. If you hit "Restore" and then select the backup after it has been restored and activated... The end result should be all the data is still there b...
