There haven't been any software releases to the receiver that I am aware of. You can try doing a soft reboot of the receiver and see if that clears up the problem.

Does your TV allow for the updating of the firmware on it? You can try that and see if it makes the problem go away. Also, if you have component connectors on the tv you can try those and see if that eliminates the problem.
