I ordered one on 6-30-10. Hope i get tracking number today although the ATT guy said it would be about a week and the order shows it as being backordered. Wish me quick ship luck...

Update. Received a how is the process coming along voicemail from ATT tech. Decided to check and lo and behold, the account wipe worked. I had to input all the information all over again and it did the change the original number but, now I have a functioning 3G iPad. I did all this while in the parking lot at school and during all the hoopla, I dropped my iPhone somewhere ...

I've read on the forums something about "forcing" and activation. When i mentioned this to the ATT tech he chuckled. what's the problem with forcing an activation as long as it gets the client the service ??

Nope...Still no service. I initially input all the required info, the circle spun for a while and then the "cannot process at this time" screen came up and it's been on ever since.
