I just got my S4 Active a couple of weeks ago and I'm in love now that I have everything set up the way I want it. The display is so crisp and clear compared to any other smartphone I've owned and there are soooo many more features to play around with and use. There's still a few tweaks I need to make to it and things I need to play around with to get them set exactly the...

I've only had my S4 a couple of weeks, but so far so good on everything. Haven't had any alarm issues like what you're describing. Have you tried doing a hard reset to see if that fixes the issue?

I've had the same issue with my HTC Inspire after the software upgrade. I'm just hoping a future upgrade takes care of the issue. I used to be able to go 2 days without charging and now it's lucky to last 8 hours.

The web site is down for upgrading your phone online. I've been trying all morning and get a "handoff failure" error message. Live chat is also unavailable and if I calll to upgrade, the phone I want is $100 more than the website price. So I guess I won't be spending any money to upgrade two of my phones today.

No, but it's not also their fault that you're moving to an area where AT&T has little or no coverage. The ETF applies correctly because you started your service in an area where you had coverage. Moving to a no-coverage area doesn't free your from the ETF. Agreed. If you n...

While a ATT employee may occasionally post here, this issue might be out of the realm of their expertise. This community is meant mainly for peer-to-peer support -- and, as such -- we would be unable to help with ATT website issues.

Agreed. Although you could get lucky and get a perfectly working phone, you're really taking a chance on how it's been treated thus far if you're buying it second hand. I still have my 8125, Tilt and Fuze in a drawer that I bought new and kept replacing them with the newer phones with my upgrades. They still work well and I use them basically for backups or "loaners" for ...

To transfer the entire account, you will need to do that in person at the store and the person assuming the account will need to go with you. It's called an Assumption of Liability and the new account holder will need to go through a credit check in order to assume the account.

Why not just get a pre paid phone to use as a backup. Yes, the number would be different than your iPhone, but you won't have to worry about damage from environmental forces to the iPhone.

In addition to the above, be aware that breaking off the Family Plan to an individual contract may require a deposit, based on your credit check to start service in your own name.

Are you the Account Owner of the Family Plan?? If so and you want to break up the Family Plan, each person/line on the plan will need to do an Assumption of Liability for their line, or to take over the rest of the lines on the plan. If you're not the account owner, the account owner will need to go with you so you can do the assumption of liability for your own line. You...

Just turn off the TF3D in Start > Settings > Today > Items and your today screen will be exactly like it is on the Tilt. You can then go back and enable the plugins you want to use on your "new" today screen.

Then, you need to enter your password to get to the options. Once you enter it, the screen will appear and you can change the options.

When you open QuickGPS, tap Menu > Options and UNcheck the top box that says "Remind me when data expires". If you don't use it at all, uncheck the rest of the boxes, too. But keeping that top box unchecked should take care of the problem.

Change the alarm tone on the same screen where you set the alarm time. Just tap the bell icon to change the alarm sound.

You won't be charged for data when using the pre-installed IM client. Even though you have to "use" data to sign in, it's covered under your messaging plan.

In my experience of using it, it's the full version. I haven't found anything yet that would make me think otherwise.

You did happen to notice the date of the article?? October 9, 2008?? There is no suit against HTC that I'm aware of. Most of the video rendering problems that the article is talking about was solved via 3rd party development by users at XDA. . . and quite a hefty bounty was collected for whoever fixed the issue by donations from the other community members. Case closed.

You can use the PDA Personal Plan on the 8525. I've used it for years with the 8125, th Tilt and now the Fuze for both personal emails and MW Direct Push (Exchange Server).

Yes, the Fuze has everything that the Tilt has -- WiFi, stereo BT, GPS -- the whole kit and kaboodle. Biggest difference (other than the interface) is the increased RAM/ROM and processor speed. The other thing that the Fuze has over the Tilt is a camera flash, which makes taking pictures in lowlight settings much better.
