I am so sick of the two faced policies of DTV and Mastec. I am tired of constantly being charged back for SIN30/90 because of faulty equipment. At least 4 to 5 times a month I get a SIN30 charge-back because someones receiver will no longer power up, freezes, or will no longer transmit a signal via HDMI. At least 3 times this month I have been charged back due to a bad LN...

LOL, Those are GOLD where I am. Ever since the stubbies came out trying to get ahold of the old school roof mouth with monopoles is almost impossible to come by. Our warehouse just doesn't carry them.

I disagree, all I am seeing is "spend more money, THEN we will help you" No one is owning this. Let me break it down for you, if the customer were to agree to a service call and I showed up all I would do is call ISS and have the SWM LNB serial added to the system, thereby causing a SWM true flag. You're not, it's a money issue. You have it, DTV wants it. I can't tell you how many service calls I have been to where the customer was dropped shipped an HD genie on a non SWM system, called DTV to activate, which they did, and then has to send ME out there on a service call to upgrade the entire system to SWM (of course all of this at measly service call rates) because...

Anytime SWM only equipment is activated on an account it is automatically flagged SWM true... Hello, HR44! If you have an active HR44 on your account then you HAVE to be flagged as SWM true. Call DTV and ask to speak with a supervisor, then another, then another until you get Mike White on the phone. The CSR and tech support people should know this already...
