I have tried recently to record a NY Jets game from NFL Ticket and a couple of bowl games off network television, and watch them later on my table while on my home network. I was surprised to see when I attemted to watch these games on my tablet with the GenioGo app the only option I had was to watch on TV. Is this some crazy licensing thing?

I have a Genie DVR with a Genie Go. I recorded the final round of the British Open and when I tried to stream it to my Samsung Tablet I got an error that the recording was too long to stream. I was at home on the same network using the genie go app. I don't understand why I can't sream this recording.

Thanks peds48, I will give this a try tonight. Any cahnce this can be done rmotely? Not likely since I need to use teh remote while the unit is rebooting.

I have an HR24-500 DVR that locks up almost daily, including when it is not on. It will reset when depressing the reset button and work normally. This DVR is locate din my bedroom so I typically find out it is locked up when I attempt to turn it on. I have the Genie connected in HDMI 2 and my Soundbar connected in the HDMI 1 (ARC) port. As I mentioned earlier in this post I turned of Digital Dolby and the distortion problem has been corrected. There is still a slight delay in the sound that appears while watching the same channel for a period of time.

Good question...I never listen to the music channels or Pandora on the system. Too many other options for Music these days! Will try that as well. More to come...

Yes, I do have some Composite cables. I will give them a try and see what happens. So if this correct sthe issue it points to a hardware problem, but like you stated, I still will not know which component is the root cause.

Yes, if I pause, or any other action really, the sync corrects but then degrades again over time. Is there any fix for this or am I stuick with it because if my televisions limitations?

I changed the Dolby setting to off, distortion is better, but the sync issue is still there.

Need help correcting the distorted sound on my system. I have a Genie Whole Home DVR (HR34-700) connected via HDMI to a 70" Sharp Aquos LED TV.
