Short Smart test and file test completed without errors. Surface scan found 8 errors and corrected them at 75% and when I came back it was on live tv so I assume all were corrected. I will be bummed if I lose my 42 Breaking Bad episodes. Took advantage of the marathon they had of the last 4 seasons. I will likely get a replacement and have the new one record new shows and switch to the other one when I want to watch my previous recordings.

I have so much data on the current DVR that I never want to face the inevitable of replacing it. Is there a way to move the data over to a new machine? I have geniego but that will help for viewing on other devices.

Thanks I will give it a shot and let you know how I made out. I think issue started when my genie reset itself with 16 errors detected but all them were repaired. I am now a little skeptical.

Recently my Genie DVR has been having playback issues for certain shows. When I hit play the image freezes while the audio plays in the background. Is this a physical issue with the recording or its DVR? This has now happened randomly about 3 different times on 3 different channels. Any advice? Do I need to replace this box?

In searching the forum I saw once reference to the same question but it was not answered. I have purchased a Dell XPS 18 Tablet/AIO and I want ensure it will not only be able to use the Directv App but also the GenieGo App as I expect to use this as TV.

I own two houses and have DTV in both locations. I purchased NFL Sunday Ticket in one location but I am now going to be in my other house for the rest of the NFL season. Can I have the service transferred?
