I have just purchased Chromecast to enable me to watch Netflix on my TV. Can someone tell me how to connect the unit to my receiver? Thanks Cora

I have a Hughes Gen 4 Satellite and have not had any problems connecting to my Genie. However, you have to be careful of downloading things as it will use a lot of your bandwidth - other than that it works fine.

Maybe on yours, but on mine I adjusted the size of font and type and it worked fine - print is much larger

My receiver has been active for about 3 weeks. As I said in my original post I have verified that the internet is working. I can go to You Tube and select something, but it will not play - messages says cannot retrieve or something like that.

I have an internet connection and verified that it is working. However when I go to You Tube and try to connect - I get an error message saying that I cannot connect. My receiver is an HR24-100

Is it possible to make the words on the guide larger? With Dish Network you could go to settings and make the guide larger and easier to read.

I talked with Tech Support and everything has been resolved. They feel that the system that was set up - the adapter and cable are not working. They are going to send me a wireless hook up which will solve the problem. We also discussed the FAP and hopefully everything will now work. Thank you everyone for your help. It is appreciated!!

Sorry, I didn't read the last sentence. The green light is lite - power I Believe and the yellow light is blinking. However I think either the box is faulty or the cable from the box to router is faulty or both. I have my computer hooked directly to the router and the light under 1 which is the port it is hooked to is lite. The tech hooked the blue cable to 4 and I notice...

I know about the FAP - however, I have that covered. My complaint is is that the tech is telling me that the Direct TV system can't be connected to the router and I don't believe that this is correct. It should work and then it is up to me to decide what I would want to download. I had no problem downloading to my ROKU 3.
