II'm still having the same issue. I've paid for my tv to be calibrated and the tv has been ruled out. I'm on my 4th visit from directv (3rd level of case management) coming up soon. All techs are stumped & the last one admitted that this is probably the best picture I will get with the hr44.

I've done that however it didnt change anything. It made the picture look worse.

@dcd I did that, directv had me troubleshoot this and it did not work I am out of answers. The only thing different since the genie is the upgrade to the genie. I want my beautiful tv back bad.

Here is my issue, I upgraded to the Genie system and my HD feed is bad, but not on all programs. It is happening only on action (action movies/sports etc). For instance, when watching basketball, the players that are in movement, there is a shadow around the player and it looks like the feed is breaking up around them. Before the genie upgrade, my old HD receivers I NEVER...

Yes I did check the firmware of the tv. The HD feed is now in and out, one minute the tv looks very clear, the next the HD feed is back to looking subpar. Something is telling me it is definitely the Directv feed. Thoughts?

So after I took all of the feedback and performed those tasks, the motion issue I was having seems to be fixed, however my HD feed is still not good. I have placed a service call to Directv. My bluRay movies are immaculate. I called Samsung and they walk through some steps with me and all was well on their end. I hope to get this resolved asap.

I used the THX app and that worked fine, I fixed the issue I believe with motion problem, however I am still not experiencing the HD feed I had before updating to the genie. My bluRay player is excellent, but the connection with the Directv is no where near it at 1080i. I have an appointment for them to come and check it out.

One thing before upgrading to the genie, the settings that my tv was at was perfect, why the change now with the upgrade?
