Well I made another RF remote gain this afternoon. I have a Sharp Aquos 32" TV a friend gave me for my office. He took it out of his motorhome, and it was a great display. It has this large external multi-media box that is remote to the TV. So I took an old RC64R and programmed it for RF on the H20-100 was was able to move the DTV receiver off to the side on a desk/book c...

I can not get my replacement HR24-100 to work with a RC65R remote in the RF mode. The same remote set up fine on a HR23-700 is the RF mode. I borrowed a friends RC65RX and it would not work either. Before you asked I first set the DVR to RF mode and then programmed the remote for RF mode. Note: I was able to set it up on the HR23-700 first try! This HR24-100 replaced anot...

We finally got DTV to replace out HR34 with a HR44 in the fall and the problem is 99.99 percent gone! My son has a HR34 and just the other day told me he has the problem. It might be a NBC problem, but DTV can fix it on your end with a HR44! According to DTV, there is a river in Egypt named de-nile! Chris

" you'll be just as happy with the HR34. " unless you get one like we had that had playback issues with a pixelated picture. DTV finally after months sent me a HR44 and the problem is resolved. Chris

Two? Don't you have three DVR devices on Ethernet? SS should be able to tell you where all to install them. Chris

How do you hook it up in single tuner mode? If you hook it up to the SWM port, will it not want to "grab" two of the 8 SWM receiver channels. I am interested in these, as I have to much equipment also when I got the Genie. They put my Arizona winter equipment into vacation status and that will time out soon. Chris

I believe you should put them on ALL DVR's(including Genie) that try to put Whole Home DVR playback onto the SWM network. It is going out ethernet so no did to send it out the Coax also. They finally replaced my HR34 with a HR44 and life is good. Your receiver count seems high! I thought 8 was the limit? Genie 5, 2 x HR24 = 4, Plus H21's????? Chris

Received my new HR44-500 to replace the HR34-700. Have it all set up and working. Hopefully the playback issues are behind me. Chris

Given the playback pixelation issues with many HR34's a smart installer would never put one in his truck! :smileylaugh::smileylaugh::smileylaugh: Chris

That opens an interesting thought!!! Watch it live and record at the same time and it is fine. Recorded it with the box off on Monday and it was a complete mess. I wonder if there is a clue in that!! Chris
