I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this post, but it’s too technical for me. I think the previous tech did check out the whole lot and found it all OK. I wouldn’t know how to begin doing the stuff you mentioned below, that’s how tech-dumb I am. It’s why I use a Mac—easiest computer to use, hands-down. Thank you again.

I have experienced this for the second time in a month. This time it's going to take until next friday to get a technician here. So 6 days with no TV and they have the nerve to give me a $7.50 credit. A complete insult. Last time the technician came, he unplugged then re-plugged the SWIM and it worked. Not happy about this. Phone tech tried but could not help. Looking at 3 days without TV. No NFL, No MLB playoffs. No NHL, no nothing. Will DirecTV credit my account?
